Government Lal Shyam Shah College, Manpur

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students.

The library of the college is an important department moving towards development. Various books on different faculties and their subjects are available in the library. The library provides reading material to the professors, associate professors, officers, and employees of the college. Books are exchanged with the students according to their classes from Monday to Saturday on the scheduled dates. Along with textbooks, other materials are also provided. The books available in the library are divided into three categories:-  1. 7385 books of various subjects are available under the general library. 2. 3279 books on various subjects are available under the UGC Book Bank. 3. There are 4683 books of various subjects in the book bank for students of scheduled castes and tribes. 4. There are 182 books on various subjects under RUSA. 5. There are 279 books on different subjects under JBS. There are a total of 15808 books in the library.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students. The computer centre has 10 computers. 

The college has a Gym facility for the students. Modern gym equipment is available in the Gym.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The College Students are provided opportunities to participate in various games and sports such as races, marathons, cross-country races, table tennis, chess, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, boxing, swimming, cricket, archery, Badminton, football, basketball, badminton, Netball, Kho kho, wrestling, softball, judo, handball, hockey, weight lifting, taekwondo, etc.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The College has unit of 100 students was established in the college in the session 1997-98. Since its establishment, every year the NSS unit of the college has organised a weekly camp in nearby villages under the guidance of the program officer. In the camp, the NSS unit delivers social services, organizes cultural programs, engages in plantation activity, cleanness the ponds, roads, and common places inside the village, etc. The details of the last three years' weekly camp are as follows:
