Government Polytechnic Basti is the central library one‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ of the major attractions of the College. It has a wide range of books, periodicals, research papers, and question papers of previous examinations to facilitate students' learning. The library becomes a necessary educational resource for the students and the teaching staff, thereby promoting academic ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌excellence

Government Polytechnic Basti laboratories are well-equipped with modern and department-specific laboratories and workshops. The Mechanical Engineering lab is home to CNC and lathe machines, whereas the Electrical and Civil Engineering labs have the latest instruments for practical training. All the departments share a big central workshop, which is equipped with the latest machines for students' hands-on exposure and repair ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌training.

Government Polytechnic Basti facilities provide a cafeteria that offers affordable meals and snacks. There is also a small store for the purchase of stationery and photocopying needs. A first-aid centre is available to provide basic medical help. Moreover, Wi-Fi connectivity can be availed in most parts of the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌campus.

 Government Polytechnic Basti has a provision of separate hostels for boys and girls. Comfortable two and three-sharing rooms are available. Rooms are equipped with beds, fans, and study tables. The food served in the hostel mess is hygienic, tasty, and nutritious which helps in creating a homely atmosphere for the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌students.
