The college has a library is stocked with numerous books authored by experts on the subject. The addition of books is a regular feature in the library without missing out on any important title related to the course of study. In addition to the course books, general books, handbooks, and reference books are also available. The library subscribes to national and international journals, magazines, and national and regional dailies to keep the students in touch with their fields of interest. The library is well furnished and can seat more than 30 students at a time in the spacious reading hall. The peaceful atmosphere in the library plays a major role in helping students concentrate and study better.

The college has a computer lab is equipped with 15 computers, all with a genuine Windows operating system and 4 GB of RAM. These computers are internet-enabled and are available for students for their various computing needs.

The college has paid equal attention to sports and fitness. It constantly strives to see that the students grow intellectually as well as physically. They are regularly motivated to participate in various sports and games both within and outside the campus. Sports competitions are organized and students are encouraged to participate. The GPC Ashoknagar campus is well equipped with Badminton, Cricket Ground, Volley Ball Court, Table Tennis, and other fitness activities.

The Alumni association is a platform that provides the opportunity for all the past students to meet again and exchange views. It is also the forum where we can enrich the Institution with our rich experience.

The college has offered hostels (50 seats)for girls with a hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day-to-day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light.

The college has departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

Government Polytechnic College Ashoknagar has a unique digital language lab inculcated with multimedia language lab study materials, matching world-class standards. It offers an exclusive, result-oriented, efficient and foolproof means to enrich the spoken language learning process.

This English language lab provides material for students at all levels of spoken language learning – from beginners to the near expert. All students inevitably improve their knowledge of spoken English from the positions that they were in at the start of the course. The facility throws open a new window of opportunities in the global job scenario. They excel in personal or telephonic interviews from potential employers in India or abroad.
