The college has a library facility for all the students. The polytechnic has a reasonably good library. It has recent editions of books, journals, and other resources needed by both students and the faculty for accessing the best material relevant to their field. More support facilities for students and faculty are being created by procuring and developing print and non-print instructional materials besides increasing the number of references, text and other books.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for all the students. The institute has established well-equipped laboratories for mechanical engineering having all the essential equipment and machinery. Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Computer Lab, CADD Lab, CNC Machine, Thermal Lab.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for all the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Workshop department has got the following shops which are well equipped with the latest machinery. The workshop helps the students to attain the technical skills in different disciplines of engineering.

Government Polytechnic College Bandipora established a Training and Placement Cell in the year 2014. The Training and Placement Cell arranges various campus interviews for the candidates of various trades of Diploma Engineering. Since inception, many students of the Institution have been placed in various industries, companies. Hotels etc. in the State as well as outside the State.
