The workshop is the only place of production until the advent of industrialization and the development of larger factories. Manufacturing Practicals from different engineering work trades like Welding, Fitting, Smithy, Carpentry, Foundry, Machine, Turning, Electrical, Electronics, and Sheet metals.

The college has an Extracurricular activities facility for all students.

College Run two units of Red Ribbon Club. Red Ribbon Club is the subsidiary of the Red Cross Society of India which Plays an important role in controlling AIDS/HIV, through awareness campaigns for students for various preventions. The activities proposed by the Punjab Govt. Youth Services Department. are carried out by the clubs.

The college has a Training and Placement facility for all students. Keeping in view the fact that technical institutes and industry together play a parallel role in producing engineers and entrepreneurs a separate industry-institute-interaction cell has been established working under the supervision of the Training and Placement Officer.
