The Government Polytechnic Motihari boys hostel facilities are provided to the boy students. The college has two hostels which are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Mess is arranged by inmates themselves. All activities are supervised by the warden who is selected by the senior-most faculty of the Government Polytechnic Motihari.

The Government Polytechnic Motihari has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Government Polytechnic Motihari hostel provides security to the girls present in the hostel. Warden is also available at the Government Polytechnic Motihari hostel.
