Students are accommodated in multiple numbers and are provided with basic amenities such as solar water heater and attached mess. Students are given accommodation in good hostels at the Government Polytechnic Pune on merit.

Hostels for girls are located opposite E-square where multiple students are accommodated. Where students are accommodated in hostels on a merit basis. Basic amenities such as solar water heaters, and attached mess are available.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The institute offers open access to the students, where a book bank facility is also available. Faculty can also get reference books according to their need and flexible durations. Students are also provided with open access system for all users, display of new arrivals, current awareness services, and others.

Students are also provided with excellent infrastructural facilities such as computing facilities where the computer system is installed with the latest software.

Students, staff, and faculty members are provided with good and nutritious food at affordable prices. To satisfy the students coming from all over the nation they are provided with multi-cuisine.

To have practical exposure to theoretical subjects students are provided with departmental laboratories which makes them easier to understand the theoretical part.

Indoor and outdoor sports are available at the Government Polytechnic Pune for the students, staff, and faculty members to participate. Open Badminton conducted in 2019, Shri. Adhiraj Sunil Nimbalkar got third prize.

Academic and non-academic events, cultural activities, and non-cultural activities are conducted at the Government Polytechnic Pune.
