The college has a girls' hostel facility that provides good hostel accommodation for students.

The College One medical officer visits the hostels twice a week during the evening hour. Free health check-up camps, AIDS awareness camps, blood donation camps, and awareness camps on female foeticide are organized on a regular basis inside the campus with the help of the District Medical officer and Red Cross society.

The College Gymnasium facilitates physical growth and fitness.

The College Govt. Women’s College, Sambalpur library contains more than 35000 books, arranged into different sections and sub-sections. The members of the staff, the students of the College, and other persons specially permitted by the Principal may use the library.

Efforts are made by the institution to introduce computers as a subject at the undergraduate level.
