GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore

The college has a hostel system comprised of 3 blocks that can accommodate 400 students. Each hostel block has a hostel warden to supervise the day-to-day management. Each room is designed for three inmates. The room comes with an attached bath that is modern and suited to international standards. Each student has a separate wardrobe, study table, chair, cot, and pin-up board.

The college has A lady doctor who visits the hostel for consultation thrice a week. A nurse is available 24 hrs to take care of sick students. A dedicated vehicle for the hostellers is available on the campus to transport sick students to the hospital in case of an emergency.

The college has launched Multi-Gym on 01/10/2016 at the GSSSIETW campus. This provides Fitness Training, Weight Loss/ gain, and Aerobics classes. The gym is equipped with well-modernized pieces of equipment like a CU upright bike, E Glide elliptical, Multi-station GYM EXM, Infinite rower model, Commercial use step board, Neoprene ankle weight 2.0 Kg, Anti-burst gym ball, and Dumbbells. Around 20 students are taking benefit of the Gym. Students are trained by a well-experienced Gym instructor. The Gym runs in 2 sessions From morning 6 Am to 8 Am and in the evening from 5 pm to 7 pm.

The college has a library that is automated using the user-friendly library automation software called “Easylib software” which also takes care of institutions' digital libraries.• The completely automated library management system makes it possible to search the database easily and borrow the materials at ease.• Computers in the library are provided with OPAC (Open Access Catalogue) which students can use for specific searches (like Author, Title, etc.) and book locations in a college library. 

The college has various sports facilities for students to support their mental and physical well-being. The college sports facilities are easily accessible and the playgrounds are well-equipped.

The college has entire campus is provided with an internet bandwidth of 100 Mbps from BSNL (70 Mbps in the FTTH plan and 40 Mbps in the National Mission on Education Scheme through the ICT plan). Nearly 400computers are networked with high-speed LAN and the total campus is Wi-Fi enabled. 

The college has a spacious, airy, well-furnished, and hygienic canteen on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects. The canteen can accommodate more than 100 students. The coffee bar on campus provides light refreshments and chats.

The college has An auditorium that is very well furnished for conducting extracurricular programs. It is well spacious and accommodates over 1200 students at a time. A seminar hall with a minimum of 450 seating capacity, is available on the campus. It is well-equipped with audio and visual systems. 

The college has 17 college buses providing transportation facilities to the students coming from different corners of Mysore. The college transport facilities are available at a convenient price range.
