The college has two hostels: one 'Vivekananda Chhatrabas' (the boys' hostel) for SC/ST boys with 40 capacities respectively. Students who need hostel accommodation are required to apply separately for the same during or just after admission. Scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students are given the highest preference during the allotment of seats in the boys' hostel. If any seat(s) remain vacant, it is usually filled up out of the general caste student applicants giving appropriate weightage to merit and distance from residence to the college. However, generally, we try to give higher preference to the honors course students over general course students
