The Central Library of Hazi A. K. Khan College plays a pivotal role in the process of enhancing of teaching-learning of the College with a collection of approximately 8000 books besides magazines and journals and other reading materials, located on the second floor of the Annex building. The Library has a rich collection of old and rare books, invaluable reference books for the use of its patrons, and others who quest for knowledge and information. It is open to all bona fide students, teachers, and other members of the college. Two borrower’s cards are issued to each student who takes admitted in the college. The geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching the geographical base of a student- a necessary part of learning that exposes students to full spectrum of disciplinary subfields- physical, human and nature-society geography as well as geographical techniques. The lab is well equipped with a series of maps, topographic sheets and a variety of survey equipment like a tracing table, thermometers, barometer, magnetic compass, electric globe, anemometer, Dumpy Level, different Scales, Geological Map, Transit Theodolite, standard time indicator and wet and dry bulb thermometers. CDs related to different topics are also kept in the lab. Field trips are organized for the students to study the natural occupancy of various facts and inform about physical changes with the help of a Global positioning system and Geographic information system available on Net. Geography Lab specializes in the development of qualitative and quantitative research skills in College.

From the very beginning of the College, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College. Students and staff of the college can buy food at a subsidized rate from the college canteen

college has introduced Physical Education as a general subject. The physical Education department organizes coaching camps time to time. Several infrastructure facilities are available for indoor games. College encourages students to participate in inter-college and inter-university tournaments.

The college has a Minority Girls’ Hostel which was established with financial assistance from the minority department of the Government of West Bengal. The hostel aims to provide convenient and comfortable accommodation for the outstation female students. It is situated in the main campus of the College. It is a privilege to reside in the hostel as it provides excellent modern facilities.
