The HIET Kala Amb library is fully computerised and embellished with a Wi-Fi zone with photocopy and printing facilities. The digital section provides the students with Audio/ Video CDs & CBT. Library services can be availed round the clock. ERP Software has also been instituted in a library system. 

The HIET Kala Amb has sports facilities for all students. Indoor games like carom, chess, table- tennis, and many more are available to the students for leisure time activities and entertainment. Outdoor games like Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Football, Cricket, Hand Ball, Scatting, Ring Throw Ball, Track, Long Jump, Shot Put, Athletics, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Wrestling, Hockey, and others are provided to the students. 

The HIET Kala Amb computer labs are fully air-conditioned and the students are privileged to have unlimited access around the clock. The laboratories are equipped with a structured fibre optic and UTP cabling network and other relevant software. The college has state-of-the-art computer laboratories with computers (DELL, ACER & HP make) servers and printers with a dedicated network.

The HIET Kala Amb Cafeteria plays an important role in promoting healthy foods and creating a college culture of healthy eating.

The HIET Kala Amb has a guest house with well-furnished rooms. These rooms have attached bathrooms cum toilets with them. These rooms have all modern facilities such as A.C., LED, Wi-Fi facility, and so on. These rooms are available for parents and also for students when they come in off-hours. No charges are taken for these rooms.
