Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training, Kalpakkam

A library is provided at HIMT Kalpakkam, which is well taken care of with a wide range of books, journals, Merchant Shipping notices, e-books, and e-journals (E-Library access is available).

 There are facilities available at Hindustan‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Institute of Maritime Training for Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, and different indoor games (Table Tennis, carrom, and Chess).

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

Virtual Reality (VR) Labs are highly advanced labs offering a fully immersive, lifelike ship visit and operation experience. The Auxiliary Machine Workshop (AMW) are Filled with pumps, valves, air compressors, heat exchangers, purifiers, and engines for the practical knowledge of ship systems.
