Idhaya College of Arts and Science for Women, Pudupalayyam

The Hostel is an independent unit with respect to its internal administration under the overall supervision of the Sisters of  Idhaya College for Women. The hostel is located within the campus of the College. The mess has a centralized modern kitchen and a dining hall for girls. A special menu is introduced and served in the mess on all important religious festivals.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

A full-fledged Transport department functions in the College with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs buses for providing transport facilities to students from various places in the Tiruvannamalai district. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

The oldest among the venues to conduct programs in, the auditorium of the College has over the years played host to so many daily assemblies, meetings, symposiums, cultural activities, graduation ceremonies, and celebrations. This Open Auditorium which has a warm, old-world ambiance but is nevertheless equipped with the latest technology is still the perfect venue for any College gathering.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

Computer teaching plays a key role in modern systems of education. The ability to use the computer in today’s world is very important. For this purpose, Computer Labs should be well-equipped in colleges. The use of Computer labs is not restricted only to computer teaching but another subject teacher can also use the technology for effective teaching-learning in their subjects. The Internet can play an important role in education. As it is an enormous information base, it can be harnessed for the retrieval of information on a wide variety of subjects. The Internet can be used to refer to information on various subjects to be taught to the students. Students find it easier to refer to the Internet than search for information in fat reference books. The process of learning has gone beyond learning from prescribed textbooks.

The college committee aims to keep track of the availability of course material in the library. Keeping this in mind the changes are implemented in the syllabus by the University. To encourage the students and create awareness among them regarding the uses of the library resources, and maintain updating the records of the library after each semester's exams. It happens in each and every department not less than twice in an academic year.

Sports activities have been an integral part of the academic activities in the College. The Club continues its winning streak for the past 12 years and has produced many outstanding players of repute for the country, state, and for University. 

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
