The most important thing about the library at IIP lies in the fact that it offers the facility of an e-library as well. the library has 52000 textbooks, more than 1500 video lectures related to myriad topics of engineering and management, 120 simulations of Physics and Mathematics, 200 applications of engineering, and over 640 e-books available in the library which also has a huge databank of emerging minor and major projects for the benefit of students and faculty.

The college understands the value of sports in the overall development of the human mind and body and as such provides some of the very best sporting facilities for our students. Apart from such popular outdoor sports like cricket, hockey, football, table tennis, etc. IIST also has started yoga and meditation classes which help students recuperate mentally.

The college has developed an excellent computer application laboratory and internet facilities. This facility helps our research students very much to undertake literature surveys for their dissertation work through the World Wide Web and the different search engines available for this purpose.

The College Pharmacy department houses well-equipped and maintained laboratories for conducting and providing research facilities in the field of synthesis and characterization of novel drug entities, pharmacological screening and toxicology study, pharmaceutical analysis, drug delivery systems, pharmacokinetics and biopharmaceutics, phytochemistry and pharmacognosy. The department has its central instrumental laboratory equipped with many sophisticated instruments, which are used for training the students as well as carrying out research work at all levels. The instruments include – HPLC, a Trinocular microscope, a Flame Photometer, a Point Apparatus, Brookfield Viscometer, UV-visible spectrophotometers, dissolution apparatus, etc. The Department also has well well-maintained herbal garden containing more than 300 species of medicinal plants.
