The college has a magnificent library building - a blend of functional structure, elegance, and exquisiteness - and is centrally located within easy reach from all the Departments/Institutes/Directorates, hostels, and residential areas. The building - with a floor area of 84,000 sq. ft. - has the capacity to accommodate more than 4 lakh volumes of books and bound journals in its stack areas, Reading Halls with a capacity for 1313 readers including a 24-hour Reading Hall with capacity for 250 readers, 13 Scholars’ Rooms, a Committee Room-cum-Videoconferencing Hall, and so on. The Library has five satellite libraries – Hotel & Tourism Library, IMSAR Library, Law Library, and Math Library.

The college Sports has produced many sportspersons of National and International repute including several Arjuna and Bhim Awardees - who brought laurels not only to the University and the State but to the nation as well. To harness the potential of the youth and promote sports, the University has created excellent infrastructure including Dr. Mangal Sen Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall with the facility of Central A.C., Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cricket Stadium of Inter–National Standard, Synthetic Athletics Track, Swimming Pool of International standard, Lawn Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Boxing Hall, Wrestling Hall, Kabaddi Hall, Judo Hall, Squash Hall, Separate Sports Hostel, Astroturf Hockey Ground is imminent and a sprawling sports complex having all playfields. The Directorate of Sports of the University organizes approximately 70 Inter College tournaments/games for men and women student players of the University Colleges/Institutes, organizes Coaching Camps for selected student players, and arranges to send the team to Inter-University and World University games/tournaments. The position holders are being awarded handsome cash prizes every year during the Annual Sports Prize Distribution Function.
