Islamic Oriental College, Tral

The 2 storeyed building attached with lavatory block and drinking water facilities is used as Hostel for Girl students enrolled in the College department as most of them hail from almost all districts of the Kashmir region. There are proper arrangements for boarders in terms of boarding and lodging. There are 22 rooms available, and the hostel complex is sprawled on 4 kanals of land with a beautiful compound in front of both the structures which face each other in North and South directions. The New Hostel complex is in the final stages of its construction and is adjacent to Islamia Oriental College, for Girls The New Hostel shall be provided with 24 × 7 electricity back up and suitable environment for studying as well as recreation. For allotment of Hostel rooms, preference is given to meritorious students hailing from remote areas. The Mess facility is monitored by the Management for Hygiene and cleanliness.

In case of emergencies, there is an adequate arrangement for “First Aid” for students in the institution. The services of trained Nurse are always available for a check-up. There are frequent medical and dental check-ups for all the students, conducted by reputed physicians and dental surgeons. The setting up of a dispensary in the near future is on the avil.

A fleet of transport owned by the College is at the service of our students for pick and drop from their home to College campus and vice versa. The vehicles are plying on different routes across important locations of subdivision Tral, Awantipora, and Sangam ( Bijhbehara) well. The vehicles also transport staff to and from campus on a daily basis. The allotment of Bus facility is made as per the vacancies available in accordance with the rules and regulations of College. Students can avail private and Govt. transport that plies frequently between different routes of Tral and Awantipora from early mornings to evenings. The manager Transport manages the system as per needs and requirements. Students are advised to contact manager transport in this behalf
