Jagjiwan College, Ara

The College computer lab has 25 Personal Computers with the latest configurations including MS Office, Visual Basic, C, C++, Java, VB.Net, C#, FORTRAN, PHP, Dreamweaver, CS-3 & latest software, etc, and some DTP software. Besides class work, students use the computer lab for club activities. 

The College has a library collection that can include books, periodicals, newspapers, manuscripts, films, maps, prints, documents, microform, CDs, cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, e-books, audiobooks, databases, and other formats. Libraries range in size from a few shelves of books to several million items. 

The College has sports activities at Jagjiwan College, Ara are conducted under the supervision of the University Sports Board headed by the Vice-Chancellor as the Chairperson. The college has its own sports board which organizes sports in the college. 

The college has Wi-Fi Internet of 256 Mbps, connected throughout the Campus. Students and faculties are free to access the internet after the regular working hours. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars. 24-hour Internet facility is provided.

The College has health Centre provides limited medical testing and medication. It remains open daily and functions on a limited schedule by visiting physicians 

The College has a dedicated language communication laboratory known as the Language Lab for improving Hindi, Sanskrit, and English language communication. It is a state-of-the-art lab with the latest multimedia facilities, aimed at improving the communication skills of the students. The Language lab offers students access to a new world of information and proficiency through audio, courseware, and multimedia CD-ROM.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College has a seminar hall equipped with a projector, interactive board, and podium. It is an aesthetically designed Seminar Hall where all the important lectures, seminars, presentations, research work, conferences, guest lectures, meetings, workshops, documentaries and projects, and other such events are held. It can accommodate up to 200 students and interactive sessions are taken up by the management, faculty, staff, and students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College is equipped with Smart Classes. Smart classes are based on computer-aided learning and teaching. It is rapidly transforming the way teachers teach and students learn in college with innovative and meaningful use of technology.
