JD College of Education, Sri Muktsar Sahib

The college library is a collection of an enormous number of books, journals, periodicals, & new papers that are regularly used by students as well as by our teachers to equip them for their betterment.

The college Training in Computer Application has been made compulsory for all the B.Ed. students.  The college provides a state-of-the-art computer lab which is not only spacious but well equipped with the latest know-how and support, such as internet, good guides, and facilitators. Computers provide us with the latest version of Pentium and are constantly upgraded to meet new standards. 

The college has well well-equipped Educational Technology Lab which is fully furnished with various gadgets such as TV, Radio, OHP, slide projectors, LCD, and projectors of the latest technology.

The On-Campus facilities for indoor and outdoor sports include table tennis, cardboard, chess, handball, volleyball, badminton, Gym, track, and field events. The institute offers advice on personal fitness programs.

The College Paying Guest Facility is also available in the city.

The College A hostel facility is available only for the girls, where they can stay quite comfortably. Paying Guest Facility is also available in the city.

The college provides conveyance to students by the college. The bus carries the students for their practice training in various schools and other field visits/ Educational tours.

Medical Services in the college were started in 2008.

Its aims are:-

·         To bring an attitude in students regarding health body & mind.

·         To create awareness of healthy living among students

·         To help students enrich themselves through community services by practicing health consciousness and spreading the message.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.
