The College Amalgamated has members of the teaching staff who have, on their own initiative, established eight departmental libraries for the benefit of the major students in each department. These libraries offer a curated selection of books and resources tailored to the specific needs of each department, enhancing the academic experience.

The college has introduced a language learning course in various regional and international languages, such as Mishing, Sadri, French, and spoken English. These courses cover basic language elements like vocabulary, syntax, pronunciation, and practical usage. A language laboratory with 10 computers has been set up, providing learners with study guides, self-learning materials, and audio-visual components to enhance their language skills.

The college offers adequate facilities for games and sports for both boys and girls. Jorhat College Amalgamated sports facilities include a multigym, a basketball cum badminton court, promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship among students.

The college offers a limited hostel facility for girls on campus. Application forms for hostel admission can be collected from the college office at the time of admission and must be submitted within a week.

The college has a medical cell that organises an annual Health Day for the health check-up of newly admitted students, recording the findings in a database and issuing Health Cards. The cell also provides free medical check-ups twice a month for students, teachers, and employees.
