JSPM'S Charak College of Pharmacy and Research, Pune

The College hostel facility is provided within the campus for girls. Two well-furnished and aesthetically designed hostels have been constructed for girls with a view to providing the best possible facilities to the students. Each hostel is an independent unit with respect to its administration under the supervision of the warden and campus management. A hostel management committee is also formed at the campus level, involving faculty members from different institutes within the campus. The committee undertakes regular visits to the hostel to ensure their safety and comfortable stay, and address the grievances of girls, if any. Campus security is also in place 24/7, ensuring the safety of girls staying in hostels.

The College ambulance is available 24/7 on campus for students. Students are actively involved in organizing different days like International Hepatitis Day, AIDS Day, Diabetes Day, World Heart Day, etc., creating awareness about healthcare issues. The health check-up camp is also organized by the students during the NSS camp.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College library has a good collection of books, scientific journals, and internet facilities with a 100 Mbps speed. In recognition of the need and importance of the Internet in the field of education.

The College believes that Sports play a vital role in maintaining good health and which is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. JSPM campus has the best infrastructure for sports. The campus houses a big ground where students can play Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, kabaddi, athletics, etc. Indoor sports facilities like a badminton hall, chess, carom, etc., are also provided to students. The campus has a spacious gym provided with all the latest equipment required for physical fitness.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

The college provides canteen facilities. The campus currently houses 2 canteens. These are spacious and provide excellent service. Great care is taken to maintain hygiene and provide healthy food. Mess facilities are also provided at a reasonable rate for the student.

The college has an auditorium with audio-visual facilities.

The College campus is located on the Pune-Aurangabad highway and is very well connected by city bus/MSRTC bus, making it convenient for the students coming from small villages near Pune city. Moreover, JSPM has more than 80 buses dedicated to the whole campus, providing efficient transport for students, faculty, and staff to every nook and corner of Pune city. The roads within the campus are wide, and the roadside trees increase comfort by providing shade and attractive surroundings.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college is a fully WiFi-enabled campus. This facility allows students to access uninterrupted Internet connectivity anywhere within the campus.

The college has laboratories with sophisticated equipment/instruments.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility and stationery, etc.)

The College has, for the convenience of the students and staff and to save their valuable time, the college provided the facility of an ATM. College has an ICICI ATM CENTER within the campus, providing services to Students and Staff and also the people from adjoining villages.

The college provides a parking lot and assists with vehicles for a smooth ride on the campus.

The College has a central studio, which is connected to all JSPM's institutes. Every institute has got Virtual classroom, with an LED screen, through this facility. Video conferencing & guest lectures are arranged for students & staff. Faculty members of different institutes of JSPM are encouraged to deliver lectures on topics of importance through this system. The central studio of this system is located at JSPM's corporate office. This facility is unique and is effectively used in the teaching-learning process.

The College's extracurricular activities, such as the organization of seminars/workshops/cultural/sports/technical events, “CYNOSURE”, etc.

The College e Training, Placement, and Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Certificate courses and Personality development workshops were conducted to ensure the placement of students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college students' club is created under the students council to organize co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as organization of seminars/workshops/cultural/sports/technical events, “CYNOSURE,” etc.
