JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty

JSS College Ooty has residential facilities on campus for about 600 students and 30 staff members. The hostel facility is provided to boys and girls. The rooms are well built and furnished, to maintain a comfortable stay for the hostelers. The hostels have separate kitchens serving pure vegetarian food under clean and hygienic conditions.

JSSCP Ooty has a separate hostel for girls students. The girls hostel can accommodate more than two hundred fifty students. Girls hostel rooms are well furnished and it has a mess that serves pure vegetarian food.

JSS College Ooty has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with SM Hospital Nilgiri to provide around the clock healthcare facility to its students. The hospital provides advanced care in specialities such as Cardiology, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.  

A well equipped gym is available within the campus for students. The gym has aerobic machines, weight machines and free weights that can be used by students to workout.

JSSCPO library is called the Information Resource Centre which aims to provide its students and faculty a space supporting teaching, learning and research purposes. JSS College Ooty library holds printed and electronic resources which include print books and journals, e-books, e-journals, CDs/ DVDs, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and various pharmaceutical discipline-related volumes. 

The college encourages mental and physical balance among its students, thus JSS College of Pharmacy Ooty has indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities. The outdoor sports activities are laid out in the permanent multi-purpose grounds utilised for playing as well as hosting athletic tournaments like cricket, basketball, volleyball or football.

JSS College of Pharmacy has a modern computer centre to provide best technical support to the students.

JSS College of Pharmacy Ooty has a cafeteria that provides food and beverages to students, staff and faculty members. The food served is nutritious and hygienic. The cost of the food is also reasonable.

JSS College of Pharmacy has an auditorium cum multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of more than five hundred people. The auditorium is equipped with the latest technology.

Entire campus of JSSCP Ooty has wifi for students and faculty members. Students can access wifi in every part of campus. The wifi is also available in boys and girls hostels.

The departments of the JSS College of Pharmacy have individual laboratories for students. The laboratories help students to perform experiments at the campus.

ATM of Punjab National Bank is available within campus premises for students and faculty members.
