Kalindi College, New Delhi

A medical room is also a part of Kalindi College with all necessary equipment especially medical assistance available for physically disabled students. 

Kalindi college has a well-stocked library. The library has a vast collection of books for different subjects, book Bank and Student Aided Fund books on different subjects for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

Kalindi college has a grand well-equipped canteen, it provides good quality food at affordable prices. College also has a Mother Dairy and Nescafe booth which serves fresh dairy foods and products at affordable prices. The canteen is one of the popular areas for students to relax.

Sangam Parisar is the auditorium of Kalindi College is a venue for various seminars, workshops, academic and cultural activities for the students with a capacity to accommodate 500 students.

After years of hibernation, the Kalindi College Alumni Association was revived in 2009. The college boasts of illustrious alumni, which include Ms Mayawati, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Ms Krishna Tirath, Minister for Women and Child Development, and Ms Kapila Gaur, Chairperson, Municipal Corporation Delhi. Several ex-students of Kalindi College are also working at prestigious positions in government services and in the media and industry. 

B.Voc Lab 

The Department of Vocation has two fully equipped Laboratories, Printing Laboratory and Computer Centre. A fully air-conditioned computer centre is equipped with modern technology and open-source software. The laboratory also has good internet facilities for students and faculty. It also has a fully equipped printing lab for printing technology students. 

Botany Lab

Botany lab equipped with necessary equipment and instruments for conducting practical classes. The laboratories are run by experienced staff. 

Chemistry Lab 

The Department of Chemistry has two well-equipped laboratories for conducting practical classes. Labs are upgraded with instruments, glassware to make practical work more interesting. 

Computer Lab

The Department of Computer Science has three LAN laboratories each equipped with 30 computers with all necessary equipment, it is also equipped with LCD projectors and students are allowed to access the internet from a computer to gather knowledge and for research work.

Geography Lab 

Geography Lab is equipped with a Cartography laboratory and GIS Laboratory to learn and encourage students to polish their skills through practical applications in the fields of Cartography, Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS. 

Media Lab

Media Lab is equipped with all the essential production equipment. The Lab also includes a fully air-conditioned studio, production control room and a radio production room. 

Music Lab

The music lab aims to promote classical and light music at ground level for students, also promote and scout fresh artists and talented students within the campus.  

Physics Lab

The Department of Physics has well-equipped laboratories and a storeroom managed by a hard-working Staff, Department of Physics has four laboratories, it is fully capable to meet all the necessary requirements of the students to conduct practicals.

Zoology Lab

The Department of Zoology consists of modern equipment and gadgets which are used in the practicals for Zoology students and make practicals interesting to the students and provide accurate knowledge. Department is also has a museum stocked with preserved specimens, crafts, models, charts, skeletons and hides. 

The college also provides Photostat facilities within the campus at reasonable charges. For students as well for teacher’s use purposes.

Canara Bank has a computerised branch within the college premises. It caters for students and staff with all banking requirements.
