Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar has a boys hostel on the campus premises for students. Boys hostel students are housed in two separate blocks with a total capacity of 900 students.  Students are provided with a huge mess that includes a dining hall, kitchen, and other amenities. The hostel offers a variety of infrastructural facilities, including ceiling fans, tables, chairs, cupboards, and a writing pad are provided in each room, bathroom, recreational facilities, gymnasium, purifier, medical facilities, 24*7 Wi-Fi internet connection, tuck shop, CCTV surveillance camera, newspaper reading room, residential doctor to render service to the hostel students and computer room with 16 systems with 45 Mbps internet connection.

In the institute, there is a girls hostel. Inside the hostel, there are a variety of infrastructural facilities like a modern kitchen, dining hall, reading room with newspapers, periodicals and magazines, television, tuck shop and telephone booth, gymnasium, shuttle court, hostel 24*7 Wi-Fi, uninterrupted power supply, eco-friendly garden, parents waiting hall etc.

During working hours, a well-equipped dispensary is accessible on campus. Students who require medical assistance can receive it immediately because the institute has a full-time doctor on campus.

A well-equipped gymnasium is available within campus for students and faculty members.

Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar has a library on the campus premises for students and staff members. The library is fully automated and well-equipped with modern amenities. The library has books, journals, CD-ROMs, online journals, question banks, project reports, and other materials. Surveillance video cameras are placed at strategic locations. The books and journals are accessed using an Open Access System.

Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar has indoor and outdoor sports facilities for its students on the campus premises. The college teams compete in a variety of local and intercollegiate tournaments. Local clubs and other institutions are frequently invited to participate in various matches in order to promote a vibrant sports culture. Physical education hour (one hour per week) is made compulsory for all students and yoga training is also offered. The outdoor games sports infrastructure include cricket field, cricket nets, football field, hockey field, handball court, volleyball court,  ball badminton courts, lawn tennis court, Kabaddi court, basketball court, kho-kho court, badminton courts in hostels, track and field for athletics. The indoor games sports infrastructure are table tennis tables, badminton courts, gyms, chess and carrom board hall, fitness and weight-training rooms, yoga and meditation hall.

The institute has a well-modernised computing environment within the campus, with modernised computer labs with high-configuration computer systems, to meet the demands of industries and to improve the learning of the students.

Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar has a well-maintained canteen on the campus for its students. In the canteen, hygienic and nutritious foods are available at a reasonable price. A tuckshop is also available that sells snacks and soft drinks for students.

The institute has an auditorium that can accommodate 1500 persons with an additional lift facility. The auditorium is commonly used for conducting meetings, seminars and various department programmes.

Staff and students commuting from Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kovilpatti, Rajapalayam, Sivakasi, Aruppukottai, and Kariapatti can use the transportation facility that includes a fleet of nearly 30 buses. Evening special bus trips are arranged for students who are enrolled in special classes, special labs, club activities, library reference, placement training, value-added programme, and other activities.

The entire campus is connected via both wired and wireless networks. Students can connect to the internet at a speed of 45 megabits per second. Wi-Fi is not only available in classrooms, but also throughout the campus, including the library, auditorium, cafeteria, and hostels.

Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar has well-equipped laboratories that cater to the academic needs of students. During working hours, students can make use of the lab at any time.

An extension counter of Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank Ltd. has been functioning in the college. Students should deposit their funds at the extension counter and pay all college fees through the bank. Meanwhile, an ATM counter is also available on the campus premises for students' convenience.

To support efficient teaching and learning, the institute has well-ventilated and spacious classrooms. The institute currently has 51 regular classrooms and 16 tutorial classrooms for slow learners. Various teaching aids, such as overhead projectors and LCD projectors, are available in every classroom.
