Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for Women, Secunderabad

The college has a well-stocked library for Graduate & Postgraduate students with more than 46000 books, catering to the curriculum as well as to general knowledge. The students have the benefit of updating their knowledge on a range of subjects with the help of 55 national and international journals, 60 magazines, E-Resources with E-Journals and E-Books, and other periodicals.

The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics maintains a “State of the art Lab” lab with modular furniture and sophisticated equipment. Chemistry Laboratories are equipped with the State of Art infrastructure with the latest instruments and pieces of equipment like Spectrophotometers, Circulatory Thermostats, Deep freezers and Electrical Suction Pumps.

Computer laboratories are equipped with the latest configured systems with Printers, LCDs, Scanners, and Internet facilities.

The Department of Physical Education, headed by Ms Deva Krupavaram came into existence in the year 1976. She headed the department from 1976 to 2009. The sprawling ground on the campus enables the students to play outdoor games like Cricket, tennikoit, Lawn Tennis, Basket-Ball, Volley-Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Soft-Ball, Hand-Ball, and Weight Lifting. The students have represented the college in all the above-mentioned games at the Inter-Collegiate, All India Inter-University, National, and Inter-National Levels and won laurels in the form of Gold & Silver Medals.

The College has A well-equipped Gym has state-of-the-art equipment and exercise gadgets.
