KB Women's College, Hazaribagh

The College hostel is situated on the college premises and caters to the needs of students coming from outside Hazaribag. The hostel provides a congenial ambiance for academic pursuits. The admission is strictly on a merit basis. We have a generator facility for the hostel. It also subscribes to two daily newspapers. 

The College laboratory facilities are equipped with all relevant items as required by University conditions. It has four laboratories for the Science Stream and three laboratories for the Arts Stream, and CND has a separate well-equipped hi-tech laboratory facility.

The College library facility is housed on the first floor in a separate building at the centre of the campus and caters to the educational, informative, and teaching needs of the staff and students. It subscribes to various journals and magazines. It provides reading room facilities and borrowing facilities to the students and members of the staff. The library membership will be valid until the student leaves the college.

The College has a well-equipped computer lab with a Pentium machine with the latest configuration. The lab has connectivity with internet access.

The college runs a well-maintained canteen on its premises which is open on all working days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The college canteen offers a varied menu at a subsidized rate. Utmost care is taken to maintain adequate hygiene in and around the canteen.

The College parking facility is available on the campus to all students, faculty, and staff.

The College well-equipped multi-gym of the college provides students with the opportunity to build their stamina to be better able to cope with the rigors of college life, healthily channel their energies and also hone their physique. The facility is been availed by both students and staff members. Sri Arup Kumar Bhattacharjee, Physical Training Instructor trains everyone to keep fit.

The College seminar hall of the college is the location for multifarious student activities in the college throughout the year. The co-curricular activities, seminars, lectures, debates, and discussions. NSS and women's development centre activities are organised here.

The College CND Department of the college provides medical care and first-aid facilities in case of any medical emergency. This facility can be availed by the students at affordable prices. 

The College has sports facilities for all students. Chess, carroms, table tennis, badminton, and other sports are conducted on the college premises. 

The College also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS.

The College has set up Go Green Club under the supervision of the NSS program officers to provide environmental consciousness and to develop environmental ethics among the students.
