The KK Polytechnic Hostel, located within the college campus, consists of two blocks, one each for boys. It is a residence hostel for students admitted to K.K. Polytechnic. All community areas, like the dining room, common room, recreation room and washroom are provided separately for boys.

It tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects.

The KK Polytechnic students have to commute from different areas of the city to college, for which the college is providing bus facility from Nairo More to college. Apart from providing transportation facilities to students and staff, the college provides the facility for industrial visits.

The KK Polytechnic Dhanbad provides a banking facility for students and Staff. Bank of India (BOI) has an Extension Counter in the College. The Bank has become an integral part of college life by sponsoring seminars and various college activities regularly.

The KK Polytechnic has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students. This facility helps the students to create and innovate ideas.
