Kodachadri Government First Grade College, Hosanagara

The college Library started its services with the small collection of 181 books in the year of 1986, according to fifth law of library science (Library is growing organism) the college library is also growing step by step. Now it is having more than twenty one thousand books (21197), including text books, reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and atlas/maps etc. and Printed Journals, Magazines, Newspapers and Membership of NLIST.

The college has sports facilities for all students with the following features 400 mater running Track, Two Volleyball courts, One Handball court, One Khokho court. Kabadi, Khokho, 2 grounds Outdoor and indoor games: valley ball, Chess, carom Cultural activities: one Room is available.

The college has a well-equipped computer lab and the number of computer systems is increasing. Through this students learn to handle the computer.

The college has It is run by contractor and supervised by canteen committee consist of principal and teachers and students. The college canteen serves has a eating and meeting place for students.

The college has air-conditioned Digital Hall, Kuvempu Auditorium and Interactive Boards provide the right atmosphere for the effective conduct of academic programs.

The college has active alumni association regularly organises get together, panel discussions and career counselling events in the college premises. A nominal one time enrolment fee is charged in the final year from those students who are interested.

The college has well equipped laboratories of computer, chemistry, mathematics and physics. The laboratories are equipped with latest equipment with ICT facilities.
