Lalit Chandra Bharali College, Guwahati

The college has a Girls’ Hostel with all modern amenities, which can accommodate 40 students.

The college has a well-equipped library with a collection of more than 20000 (twenty thousand) text and reference books, 30 periodicals, and 13 newspapers of national and international repute. It follows an open access system and uses SOUL software (an integrated Library Management Software) developed by INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, for library automation. It also introduced a Barcode for the smooth running of day-to-day library work. Students are allowed to borrow books with a library borrower’s card. The students must follow the existing rules and regulations of the Library.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has a Canteen facility available within the college campus for the students, teachers, and other employees.

The college has produced a long list of alumni who are spread all over the globe. The Lalit Chandra Bharali College Alumni Association was established to maintain a lifelong interconnection between the college and the alumni. Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, the association has worked to serve the alumni and the alma mater.

The College has a Department of Electronics that has a periodically upgraded A/C Laboratory with a capacity of approximately 30 students for basic Electronics. The college has a separate set-up for Digital Electronics for 20 students with its own computational facility. The Department of Physics has two fully equipped Laboratories. The Department of Education also has a Laboratory with modern equipment.

The College has a Health Center equipped with basic instruments and is managed by the Health Club under the aegis of a Doctor; who has been appointed to look into the health concerns of the students and employees of the college, from time to time.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility & stationery etc.)
