The Library of Late Shri Jaidev Sathpathi Govt. College Banana was established in August 1989. The Library Information read of Student & staff. The Library is open to the students from 10.30 to 5.30. 1. The Library has a total of 9059 books. 2. 13 magazines are available. 3. 05 daily newspapers are also available for the student. 4. Newspaper, Magazines & other books can be read/issued by the students by deposit then I Card. 5. A special book facility is provided to the SC & ST Students. 6. BPL Yojana also provided for poor students.

The College has the purpose of the multi-faceted development of the personality of the students, proper sports arrangements have been made in the college. In which U. G. A gazetted sports officer is appointed to provide sports training on behalf of the gym and government-provided by C.R. In addition, a sports committee is constituted annually by the principal.
