The college has a library that has over 20,005 volumes, which includes 9943 Books, 5449 Reports, 358 Theses,3337 Working papers, 111 Occasional Papers, and 807 Discussion Papers and it subscribes to over 100 national and international journals. The card catalog is computerized using the LIBSYS software. MSE library has been included in the IMF Depository Library Programme. Its referencing services include access to JSTOR supported by the Ford Foundation and Econ Lit, which is the indexed bibliography produced by the American Economic Association. Bibliographic details of books, journals, reports, and CD-ROM databases are accessible through a campus-wide network. Online Public Access Catalogue has been installed in the journal section for the general users.

The college has Some of our students on the Anna University Sports teams, but the rest of us ensure we play cricket, volleyball, and badminton on campus. Cricket particularly is a passion for students.
