Maharshi Buddharam Degree College, Menda

MBR Degree College Library started functioning in 2016. The College library covers an area of 1100 square feet, out of which five hundred square feet have been provided for students' reading rooms, 400 square feet for teachers reading inside the library, and 200 sq. feet for stacking the library books. The College library is a growing entity; It plays a pivotal role in education. Since the inception of the library, it has rendered its valuable service to the students, staff, and researchers for the last seventy-seven years. Its growth and progress reasonably presuppose a brighter and mightier future waiting for it.

The College library is the hub of intellectual activities of the students, teachers, and staff. At present the library contains around 5,000 numbers of well-chosen books. The library subscribes to a good number of Periodicals considering the student's needs from 12th to UG level.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The NSS was introduced in this college during the session 2017-18 with one unit of 60 nos. students to promote national consciousness and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility, discipline, and dignity of labor among the students which shall create a sense of participation in nation building activities. At present, it Its converted to a Co-unit of 100 no students both boys & girls. It is monitored by Govt. of India through their Asst. Program Advisor, Program Co-ordinator of Rajendra University, Balangir, and the program Officers of this college.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility.
