MEC infrastructure has well-designed and fully furnished hostels separately for male students at the institute with well furnished rooms. The hostels hold the accommodation capabilities for about 2000 students. The hostel rooms are granted on the basis of single bed, double bed, three bed or dormitory to the students wishing to be accommodated in hostels on MEC campus.

MEC facilities in the hostels provided for the female students are the same facilities that are in the boys hostels. Hostels have various facilities provided in each room consisting of indoor games, reading rooms, audio, video and medical facilities. The hostels are provided with safety and security facilities on the MEC campus.

Mahendra Engineering College Namakkal facilities provide medical services for its students, faculty members and staff. The medical clinic at the MEC campus provides basic first aid treatment to its students and staff.

Mahendra Engineering College is to be established a multi gym for both boys and girls in the indoor stadium.

MEC facilities in the library provides its students and staff with a huge collection of informative resources. The library on the MEC campus is an independent building with a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, newspapers, project documents, back volumes and CDs/DVDs in the disciplines of management, science, engineering and technology.

MEC infrastructure has a physical education department that manages the sports related activities of the institution. The physical education department provides facilities like an indoor stadium, indoor games like badminton, basketball, chess, carom, volleyball, table tennis, and more and there are other sports facilities as well such as a multi-gym, an open-gym, basketball courts, football fields, cricket ground, kabaddi court, handball court, hockey field, volleyball court available on the MEC campus.

The institute provides Internet connectivity with the speed of 1 gbps to all its departments through local area network (LAN) and on MEC campus.

MEC infrastructure has an enormous and clean canteen which provides nutritious and appetising meals at an appropriate price. The canteen provides a wide range of cuisine to suit the taste of the students and it also offers snacks, bakery products, beverages to the students but also the staff members.

Mahendra Engineering College has a well-maintained auditorium with the latest audio and visual equipment.

The MEC facilities provide a fleet of buses for the students, faculty members and staff accommodating far from the institute. The buses run from places like Salem, Erode, Namakkal, Tiruchengode, and more within a radius of 55 KM to the MEC campus.

MEC facilities have available banking facilities provided by the Union Bank of India Mallasamudram Branch which is open from 12 AM to 2 PM on all working days for the students and staff on MEC campus. There is an ATM installed as well on the MEC campus of the Union Bank of India Mallasamudram Branch for off working hour transactional needs of the students and staff.
