The College has central library is fully automated and works on KOHA software. The library also maintains a barcode-based circulation system for providing quick services to the users.

The College has separate sports complexes for boys and girls and separate arrangements for various indoor and outdoor games. The college encourages games and sports. In the sprawling campus of the college, there are Separate Playgrounds for Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, and badminton. Both Indoor and outdoor games are given emphasis. MIP conducts football, cricket, and volleyball tournaments at regular intervals. ‘The Mallabhum Premier League’ (MPL), ‘Lakshmi Narayan Memorial Cricket Tournament’, and ‘Dhurjoti Memorial Football Tournament’ are some of the prestigious tournaments, arranged by the students of the Institute. The successful student-sportsmen are awarded by the Institute.

The College has is a central computer lab comprising 40 computers with the latest technologies and modern software essential for engineering students. It is also provided with an internet connection of 2 Mbps line speed. There is also another computer lab having 14 computers equipped with all modern facilities and internet connection for various departmental uses and practical purposes.

The College has features spacious and abundantly equipped workshops, essential for practical experience. There are separate workshops for individual subjects of various departments. Each workshop provides adequate facilities for developing the technical skills of students. Some of the prominent equipment include lathe machines, milling machines, UTM, drilling, and grinding machines.

The College has 15 theory classrooms, accommodating a minimum of 60 students each, and 25 laboratories of various departments. There are intelligent classrooms in every department, equipped with LCD Projectors, Computer systems, and other modern tools, which ensure interactive learning inside the classrooms. We have three tutorial centers, accommodating at least 30 students each as well.
