Mar Sleeva College of Arts and Science, Idukki

The college has a library that was set up in the year 2012 with the primary goal of raising students to a higher realm of academic excellence. The library houses a vast collection of books belonging to diverse disciplines and is equipped with a computer-based self-service system. Library users are also given access to quality journals, magazines, and newspapers. Students are encouraged to make the most of the library through various activities and competitions conducted in the college from time to time. The library has various sections such as the Reference Section, Question Bank Section, Reading Section Back Volume Section.

The college has a Computer Lab. Computers play a significant role in today’s world, and many of even the most basic jobs require computers. The world in general and education, in particular, are becoming more tech-based. Mar Sleeve College is enriched with computing facilities like well-equipped laboratories with modern computing environments and ventilated and well-furnished classrooms; we provide a pleasant working environment for students to undertake their practical and assignment work. They have around 100 computers installed with all essential academic software to help students familiarize themselves with fast-changing technology. The well-trained and dedicated lab staff is available to instruct, guide, and assist students in their academic pursuits. Amongst other facilities, students can avail of Internet Usage and an Extra Lab.

The college has a Geology Lab and Museum. Geology is concerned with the application of Physical Sciences, Biological Science, and Mathematics to the understanding of the earth's processes that have operated through time. It encompasses both fundamental research and practical applications in the search for and use of earth resources.

The College playground provides a safe outdoor environment within the college that stimulates students to use their creative energy in healthy interactions with one another. The most enchanting colleges always have large, open playgrounds with interesting play equipment that leaves many options for creativity.

The college has an Auditorium is a proud, colossal structure that overlooks the typical sprawling green scape of Idukki. It is perhaps the most visited place of the college, while those in the community may or may not see a typical classroom in a school they have more than likely visited the Auditorium for college performances. It has a massive seating capacity of approximately 800.

The college cafeteria is fairly new and provides delectable food at affordable rates. The college separately houses the cafeteria facility to provide refreshments to the students. Students find it the most suitable place to relax and discuss topics of their interest during their leisure time. Mar Sleeve College of Arts and Science has the facility of a spacious, clean, and hygienic cafeteria that caters to the taste of all students. The cafeteria remains open on all working days. It provides all types of nutritious and hygienic food and hot beverages to cater to the students, staff, and visitors.

The college has six buses plying between the college and places like Vermont, Chelachuvadu, Thadiampadu, Maniyarankudy, Cheruthony, Karimpan, Pandippara, Mariyapuram, Idukki, Kattappana, Erattayar, Thankamany, Nedumkandom, Manjappara, Melechinnar, Perichamkutty, Adimaly, Kallarkutty, Kambilikandom, Murickassery, and Thopramkudy. There are highly experienced and responsible drivers who pick up students at stops along established routes and drop them off at college.
