Marangi Mahavidyalaya, Golaghat

The Central Library of Marangi Mahavidyalaya was started in 1990 in the year of the establishment of the college. It had a few books at the time of its establishment. Gradually number of collections of books has improved. The library has over 5937 books, magazines, Newspapers, references,s, etc. Because the majority of the users belong to economically poor families the library takes care of them. The management of the library is costing Teachers, Office staff, and students.   The Central Library of Marangi Mahavidyalaya has a limited but quality-based collection of books on various subjects of interest for the students, teachers, and office staff. Every day 30 students may visit the library for different purposes. The succeeding section of this report provides detailed information on Library collections, services provided by the library to the students and others, best practices that are being practiced, and plans to enhance the quality of Library services.

The College has 3 Digital class rooms and one of them is a computer laboratory.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The institution encourages and motivates its students to participate in extracurricular activities like sports. The total development of the human personality requires equal attention to the physical as well as intellectual faculties. Every year the games and sports cell of the college organizes annual sports for both the students as well as the teachers.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Electoral Literacy Club(ELC)of Marangi Mahavidyalaya is the platform to engage college students and people in villages through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them to their electoral rights. It is constituted at the behest of the Election Commission of  India  (ECI)  in all educational institutions with a motive to be aware and ensure the participation of youth & future voters who are pillars of Indian democracy.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
