The college has a well-established library that caters to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students and the faculty. The library functions on an open-access system for the faculty members and the students. The library remains open from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM on all working days and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on holidays. The college library has a collection of about 6000 books. It subscribes to about 14 international journals in various disciplines of science and humanities. Services such as the lending of books and journals, a reading room, and bibliographic reference and information are rendered by the library.

The college's state–of–the–art laboratories, equipped with the latest technology, have revolutionized the learning techniques for students. The college has an English communication lab that supplements classroom instructions. The language laboratory is designed to help students develop their skills at their own pace.

The college is endowed with the Dasari Auditorium and T. Gopala Rao Auditorium, both well-equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment. These ultra-modern facilities are utilized to conduct seminars, conferences, technical sessions, and cultural activities.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has sports facilities for all students. A healthy mind in a healthy body is what we believe in, and emphasize field physical activities like Cricket, Tennis, etc. Apart from studies, students are encouraged to take an active part in sports and other cultural activities. We at SVEI encourage our students to participate in all competitions, no matter whether we win or lose, but important is participation. Able players are given every encouragement to compete at the highest level under the guidance of expert coaches. It is not strange if our students have competed at the State level and bagged prizes.

The institute manages students’ placement/internship through the CDC and facilitates students to prepare, perform, take up, and excel in their leadership career in the best possible manner. CDC always works during its best to attain the students’ dreams concerning their career choice and to cope with the demands of industries by offering multifaceted talents of great expertise.
