The College Boy’s Hostel is located on the college campus. Every student is provided with a chair, table, cot, coat stand, and other required facilities. Two residential wardens are staying with the students to take care of them.

The college Women’s Hostel is located in the D B Jain Arts College campus for girls. Every student is provided with all the required facilities. Three residential Lady Wardens are staying with the students to take care of them.

The college has a dispensary on campus to meet the first aid and routine medical requirements of the students, free of cost. In the dispensary, the consultation is also provided to the members of the faculty and staff of the institute. A senior medical officer, along with other supporting staff – pharmacist, nursing orderly, and ward boy are there to attend to the students, faculty, and staff.

One qualified Medical Officer (on a part-time basis) and a Nurse have been appointed in our college. The Nurse is available on all working days. Staff and students can avail the facility if they are found to be sick. In addition to this, Apollo Shine Trust has installed a Medical Centre with qualified medical professionals in the interest of the students and all employees of the college.

The college has a fully furnished multi-gym. The gym comprises Powerlifting, Weightlifting, and Deadlift. Gymnasium for practice for those students interested in staying fit.

The college central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs, Online databases, Multimedia, Books, journals, technical magazines, light reading materials, theses, reports, etc. The Central Library is housed in the main building of the campus, and it caters to the information needs of the user community. In addition, each and every department has its own library for quick reference. It has around 45503 volumes of print materials covering books on all disciplines of Science, Engineering, Technology, Social Sciences, and Humanities, and inclusive of Project Reports, back volumes of journals published by Institutions and Societies across the world, and book bank collections. The library has a separate collection of books under the Book Bank scheme. The Central Library currently subscribes to 103 Journals in print. All the activities of the library were automated using library software with a web-based facility.

The college Indoor games like Table tennis, Chess, Carom board, etc., are developed. Outdoor Games like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Football, Hockey, Tennis, etc., are engaged in recreation. Indoor, outdoor games facilities in the Evening and Morning times. The college has a 400-meter track which can be used for conducting all the track and field events. This is an intercollegiate sports tournament where many colleges take part in and around Chennai. In 2005, around 48 colleges had taken part. The department is full-fledged with vast playgrounds catering to international standards for track and field events. An adequate number of Basketball, Volleyball, and badminton courts are available. The department maintains Cricket, Tennis, Handball, Kabaddi, Football, and Hockey courts, and a 400m athletic track of international standards is available exclusively for men and women. Experienced grounds men maintain these courts to standards. In addition to outdoor courts, indoor courts for Carom, Table Tennis, and Shuttle Badminton, both for men and women, are well equipped with floodlight arrangements. Staff vs. student matches are organized to develop a cordial relationship between them.

The college is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with high configuration of Intel Core i3/i5/Core Duo machines from Acer/ HCL/ IBM. Facilities like printers and scanners are provided in each and every computer lab. All computer labs are air-conditioned and are connected 24 hr. Internet facility with a dedicated 100 Mbps 1:1 bandwidth from ISPs.

The college has a ‘ Cafeteria ’ where Tea, Coffee, Snacks, Tiffin, etc., are available at a concessional rate on the college campus. Periodical checks are made to see that the quality of food items is maintained.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Transport facility for the students and staff.

The college has a good network for the alumni association.

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students. Electronics System Design Lab, Microwave and Optical Communication Lab, Microprocessors Lab and RF and Communication Lab, Digital Signal Processing and VLSI Lab, Electronics Design Lab, Computer Programming Lab etc.,

The college provides ATMs of the ICICI and Indian Bank are placed in-house and provide round-the-clock banking services in the D.B. Jain College Campus. This facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college. On enrollment, every student can open an account with the bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet Banking, and A.T.M. facilities. 

An on-campus Banking facility is provided by Indian Bank. The branch is listed as Indian Bank, D.B. Jain Branch. It is fully computerized and air-conditioned. It caters to the needs of students and staff. The ATM facility boon to the faculty and hostilities.

The Institution provides its students with the opportunity to remain connected to the outside world with its unified wireless communication network spread throughout the campus. With over 10 Access Points providing smooth wireless Internet connectivity, the campus is one of the most advanced technical campuses. Internet facility with a dedicated 100 Mbps 1:1 bandwidth from different ISPs to facilitate 24X7 access to the Internet. The Internet Connectivity with Campus-wide Networking enables access from anywhere within the college Campus. Internet connectivity is extended to Hostels with Wi-Fi Connectivity.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
