What is JEE Main 2026?
JEE Main is a national level exam for engineering. The National Testing Agency (NTA) runs this exam. JEE Main registration 2026 allows students to get into 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, 29 CFTIs, and over 1,000 private engineering colleges. It is also needed for JEE Advanced, which gets students into IITs.

JEE Main Eligibility rules 2026
Students have to meet the JEE Main eligibility rules to take the test. There is no age limit for this exam. They need to have passed Class 12 or a similar test.
- Passing Exam: You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025.
- Appearing for Exam: Students taking their Class 12 exams in 2026 can also apply.

JEE Main Syllabus 2026
The JEE Main syllabus covers topics from Class 11 and Class 12. Students can find the JEE Main syllabus pdf on the NTA website. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the main subjects covered.

JEE Main Answer Key 2026
NTA puts out a temporary answer key after the exam. Students can challenge this key by paying a fee for each question. After checking these challenges, NTA releases the final answer key.

JEE Main Result 2026
NTA announces the JEE Main result on its website. Students can check their scores and ranks using their application number and birth date. They will also get a rank card.
The result uses the student's best score from both exam sessions.
JEE Main Cutoff 2026
The JEE Main cutoff is the minimum score needed for JEE Advanced or to get into a college. Factors like how hard the exam was and how many students took it change the cutoff. The cutoff is different for each group of student.
