In respect of every medical examination, the Manager of the mine concerned shall give at least "A" days of prior notice in writing to the person to be examined. A is given by
Every return airway as lies within . . . . . . . . meters of last working face and every haulage, shall be divided in to zones not longer than . . . . . . . . meters and . . . . . . . . meters each.
At any mine, wherein more than 'A' persons are employed, the Chief Inspector shall give order to provide and maintain a canteen for use of all persons employed. 'A' is given by
Electric battery or diesel powered, self-propelled machinery including side discharge loaders, load haul dumpers, coal haulers, shuttle cars used in b/g in coal mines shall be provided with substantially constructed roof . . . . . . . .
Which shall give adequate protection against falling of ground from the roof or sides.
Where the shaft exceeds 45 m in depth, the persons working at the bottom of the shaft shall be protected by a covering which shall be kept lowered within 'A' meters of the bottom of the shaft. 'A' is given by,
Every entrance of the mine shall be so designed, constructed and maintained that its lowest point shall not be less than . . . . . . . . meters above the highest flood level at that point.
