AAU Jorhat has a medical unit that caters to the medical needs of students, faculty and staff. The primary role of the unit is to provide rapid definitive assessment, investigation and treatment of emergency patients. Under the welfare of the university, the medical unit provides 24 hours ambulance services for the employees and students of AAU Jorhat.
