The Berhampur University facilities include separate hostel accommodations for boys. At present, there are around thirteen hostels inside the campus, of which six are for boys. All are well-furnished and maintained. Every hostel has a common room. Multi-gyms are provided to the hostels to make them all fit and healthy. A mess facility along with fresh and hygienic food is available for the borders.

The university has a girl's hostel facility that provides well-furnished and well-maintained hostel accommodation for the students. At present, there are around thirteen hostels inside the campus, of which seven are for girls. The Berampur University hostel facilities include a common room, multi-gyms, a mess facility, and fresh and hygienic food. All girls' hostels are within one boundary and are provided with matrons and adequate security.

The Berhampur University facilities include a library with three-storied central library with a Journal Section and Reading Room and a New Annex.

The university is not only a hub of academic interest, but it also provides students with abundant opportunities to develop their abilities and become physically strong. Berhampur University sports facilities include around two basketball courts, a volleyball court, a football field, and a 400-meter track. There is also a gym, an indoor shuttle badminton court, and table tennis facilities for all stakeholders. 

The university has a health centre providing preventive and curative Health Care with both Allopathic and Homeopathic treatment. Further, the service is not only extended to students, staff and their family members but also to the general public in the neighboring villages as there are no medical facilities available nearby to treat the patients. The university also has an ambulance service available within the campus premises in case of any injuries.

The university offers a central canteen for the students with a capacity of about 50 was started in the year 1980. It is managed by private firms approved by the University authority. It works throughout the week. It provides meals and snacks (veg and non-veg).

The Berhampur University has an auditorium named 'Biju Pattnaik Auditorium'. This auditorium was established in 2006 with a seating capacity of around 706 people. It is well furnished with a centrally air-conditioned facility, along with a good and wide stage and two green rooms.

The  Berhampur University facilities include gym facilities with modern workout equipment at the sports complex. 

Berhampur University has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The laboratory sessions will be conducted by faculty for students on a regular basis.

The university offers transportation facilities, including bus services, to day scholars and employees of the university who are not staying on campus. There are many buses run by the university at the scheduled hours of the day to meet the university community's transportation needs.

The Berhampur University facilities include a convenience store for its students, which includes stationary and photocopying facilities.
