Bharathiar University boys hostel facilities include well-furnished rooms with attached bathrooms, uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, free wi-fi and many more.

The university provides comfortable accommodation in the hostels for the outstation students. The safety and security of the hostels is taken care of by the hotel wardens.

The university has an on-campus medical clinic. The clinic provides free basic treatment to the students, university staff and faculty members with the help of qualified medical officers.

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore gym facilities are available for the students, staff and outsiders. Modern equipment like nine station gym, pec deck, abdominal crunch, arm curl, treadmill, rolling machine and many more are available in the gym. The gym also has qualified fitness instructors for guidance.

The university has a spacious library, equipped with numerous textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The library also has photocopying facilities.

Indoor and outdoor sports like chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, tennis, cricket, football, basketball, volleyball are available on the campus. Separate fields are maintained especially for outdoor sports.

The IT Infrastructure of the university acts as a centre for managing all computer-related services for the use of students, research scholars and academic staff

The university has two cafeterias, nullof the Bharathiar University with Buses to provide transport facility to University Students as well as Staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure a hassle-free and safe transportation, University operates seven Buses to facilitate transport to Faculty members, Staff and Students. University collects minimum bus fee from the students and staff on monthly basis. The buses start from the following destination to Bharathiar University.

University Guest house

One of the oldest structures which is modernesed with immense facilities houses 2 VIP suit and 4 Regular suits. Each suit is with twin accommodation with A/C, TV and individual toilet/bathrooms.  

Vested with separate kitchen and dining facility, the guest is the default and preferred accommodation in university. A full time receptionist and cook reside behind the guest house for round the clock service.

Booking  for accommodation is through PRO section through advance payment. Office of the Registrar control over the allotments through travel desk of Public Relations Office.

Tariff: Rs. 500 for single accommodation per day
  Rs. 600 for double occupancy.

With lawn and park surrounded with trees, the guest house is safeguarded with compound wall. Carparking facility is spacious inside the premises.
