Boys Hostel

The University has three hostels for students from remote and distant sections of the region, each named after renowned Buddhist academics. The hostels can accommodate 100 seats for monks, boys, and nuns, respectively. For the hostels, the Institute also supplies cooking gas cylinders, cooks, bearers, and equipment.

Girls Hostel

The University has a hostel that can accommodate girls and nuns. The Institute appoints Hostel Wardens to oversee these hostels for three years. For the hostels, the Institute also supplies cooking gas cylinders, cooks, bearers, and equipment.

Library

The University has libraries for the dissemination of information in Buddhism, Tibetology, and Buddhist philosophy in the whole Himalayan region. The library is divided into two sections the General part contains books on various themes written in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Pali, and Urdu. The Sungbum section contains Pothis and literature on Buddhism in the Bhoti language.

Laboratories

The University has labs equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and sufficient space to facilitate successful practical classes. There are distinct language and business laboratories at the university. Students can use a department-based laboratory facility at the college.

Auditorium

The University has campus features a space for seminars and gatherings called an auditorium. Here cultural and academic events are conducted.

I.T Infrastructure

The University has set up a well-designed computer lab that can accommodate multiple students at once. The departments and offices are connected via a network. The university offers its students first-rate IT infrastructure resources.

Sports

The University has current campus hosts sports events, permission has been granted by the Leh District Sports Association to use the indoor stadium as needed. Various sporting events, literary gatherings, and cultural events are planned for Varsity Week. All students have access to the university's sports facilities.

Transport Facility

The University has of Buddhist Studies bus service, which runs on a prearranged route between Leh town and the university, and is utilized by both staff and students of the university.
