Central University of Gujarat offers limited hostel accommodation for men. Students must note that admission to hostels is offered on a first come first allotment basis. Fees are according to the university rules and regulations. Also, students can opt for private accommodation on a shared basis available in Gandhinagar at reasonable rates.

The Central University of Gujarat has a well-equipped auditorium with required facilities. The auditorium is used to conduct workshops, seminars etc. It has a seating capacity ranging from 45 to 200 people.

Central University of Gujarat has AC buses that are available on the demand of students and faculty. The university offers transport facilities for students and faculty. The bus also plies between hostels and campuses at designated times.

Central University of Gujarat library has a huge collection of information materials taking into consideration the course content and information requirements of students of the university. The collection of the library is reviewed every year to cater to the research needs of the faculty. The library collection includes books, reference books, journals, magazines, journals etc. The library has SOUL software and computerised facilities. Workstation and internet are provided to students coming from economically backward areas who can not afford to buy computers individually.

All schools and centres of the Central University of Gujarat are connected through a private network that is highly secured. The devices are connected through a 1 GBPS broadband connection. Both the campuses of CUG have wifi facilities that provide computing facilities. Students in various programmes are provided computers so that they can access the internet anytime.
