Sports

The University is equipped with a Yoga hall and indoor and outdoor sports facilities. However, aerobics and a few pieces of fitness equipment are available here. Carroms, Chess, and Table Tennis are encouraged on our campus as a part of Indoor games. We have multipurpose playfields like two Badminton courts, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket, Tennis, and Ball badminton established at different places on the campus. A 400 m running standard track is ready for its ‘approval for laying’. The funds are sanctioned, and on-site work will be initiated shortly.

Laboratories

Library

The University Central Library aims at providing access to its printed resources such as books and journals as well as electronic journals and online databases primarily for the use of faculty and staff at the University. Its holdings should reflect their interest largely. The library stock is increasing at a rate of approximately 1,000 books a year. Currently, a collection of 35,000 books ( Arts:19,400 Science: 13,000, and Engineering: 2,600) with around 10,000 titles of books ( Arts:6,210, Science:3,300 and Engineering: 490) are available for access. As of now, there are 500 Volumes. The library also subscribes to over 30 current periodicals and to a range of electronic journals and databases. There is a maximum of 13 different types of Newspapers with around 90 copies daily available for reference. The library currently offers 20 user computers on the Inflibnet and Delnet networks for users to access the internet, online journals, and other databases. One PC is restricted from accessing the online/web catalog of the library. The library web catalog can also be accessed from all other PCs on the campus with an 'HTTP' The computer facilities are provided for academic work only. Users should not use the facilities for non-academic work including email, web browsing, etc. Users are not permitted to install any software or program on any of these PCs. Users are requested not to store/keep any data/files in any of the library computers. There will be no protection for your files/data if they are left on these computers. Please assume that they will be deleted at 17.30 pm every day.
