The university has a Wi-Fi-equipped campus spread over 131 acres with a barrier-free infrastructural and educational environment.

The University has More than 4000 reference books with National and International Journals that have been included in the field of Hearing Impairment, Mental Retardation, and Visual Impairment. The majority of the journals and books are easily accessible to the challenged students of the University. The full text of the journals and books is integrated into a single interface and bibliographical database for easy access to the users on any topic of interest for academics, research, and rehabilitation. Access to International databases is available through MEDLINE and the Internet. The library has GUI-based management software with a unique collection of books, compact discs, and audio-visual material in the form of audio cassettes and slides related to speech, hearing, and allied fields. A free browsing facility is available for all staff and students.

The University has a Resource Room for MR children which is well-equipped with different types of (TLM) Teaching Learning Materials. It aids in the learning of various skills in the students. The Learners of B.Ed (MR) and D.Ed (MR) devise TLMs themselves while doing their practice teaching and IEP (Individualized Educational Program). Students use these TLMs with MR children while teaching them different skills and concepts like personal skills, social skills, color concepts, fine motor skills, community orientation, academic skills, etc. Resource Room is also equipped with different assessment tools and psychological tests that are used by the students in their practicals like MDPS, FACP, BASIC (MR), etc.

The University Canteen is a place to refresh after long hours of academics for some and a place to taste a variety of deliciously prepared foodstuffs for all others. The Canteen has been designed with barrier-free features keeping in view the needs of disabled persons. The Canteen has a lot of goodies to offer at an affordable price and it remains open on all days of the week. Great decor and mouth-watering delicacies make this place a popular hangout for students. A canteen is also a place where students throw their birthday parties and often search for opportunities for get-together/s from time to time. Filled with the exuberance of youth, the Canteen has an environment that is hard to describe unless you pay a visit. The Canteen acts as a host to a large number of students and staff.

The University's Medical and Health services are also provided on campus for the students. There is a provision of "Sawasthya Sewa Kendra" for the students just adjacent to the hostel block which provides medical services to the students in case of any casualty/emergency. Each and every student is insured under Group Insurance Cover.
