Presently, IIIT-NR has three boys’ hostels. Students can access campus networks and computing facilities from their hostel rooms through high-speed WiFi/LAN. All students are required to stay in a hostel.

Open-air Gym facilities with modern equipment are available separately for boys and girls. A centralized indoor Gym facility is also available at SAC.

The Institute library is part of the administrative building spanned over 2 floors acquiring a plinth area of approximately 800 sq. meters with a central air-conditioning system and free wi-fi. We religiously follow the second and the third law when it comes to collection development. We go a step ahead when it comes to making available resources whether print or electronic by involving all the stakeholders e.g, faculty members, students, and researchers. It complements and supplements the scholarly and informational needs of faculty, students, and researchers. Right from the day of its inception, it is aggressively built on its collection in varieties of forms like printed textbooks, reference books, magazines, newspapers, and e-resources like IEEE Xplore, an E-book collection of McGraw Hills, etc. The Digital Library section of the Central Library has developed an institutional digital repository using open-source software DSpace, which preserves the institute's intellectual output for posterity. The library has a separate section for books on the history/flora & fauna of Chhattisgarh.

Every hostel has a separate sports facility for indoor games, including table tennis and badminton. For outdoor games, one basketball court, two volleyball courts, and one football cum cricket ground are available. Indoor game facilities are available in each hostel apart from the SAC (Student Activities Centre).

IIIT-NR has truly world-class, campus-wide state-of-the-art information technology tools that are designed to meet the computing and communication needs of the institute, which has a fast, reliable, and rugged computer network of more than 600 Nodes. In order to facilitate proper teaching aid, all classrooms here are equipped with projectors and audio systems and have two smart classrooms. All the hostels, cafeteria, academic blocks, guest houses, multipurpose halls, and residences, are connected through redundant 10-gigabit fiber backbone networks. All the blocks are connected through layer 2 & 3 switches to provide 1Gbps connectivity at the user end. A wireless network with 84 indoor access points and 9 outdoor access points is also enabled to give total campus Wi-Fi coverage. All traffic for the internet both inbound and outbound passes through UTM.

The institute has separate dining facilities for boys and girls in their respective hostels. Additionally, it has a centralized canteen that serves snacks, non-veg food, general fast food, juice, and milk products. Institute mess serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The mess is managed by a committee comprising of students, staff, and faculty.

The institute has a centrally air-conditioned auditorium with 800 seat capacity for organizing large technical and cultural events.

A Wi-Fi facility was available on the college campus.

The Institute has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The Institute has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Institute has Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

There are two smart E-classrooms, each with 120 capacity. They are air-conditioned and equipped with the latest video conferencing systems.
