Separate hostel facilities for boys were established in the year 1964. There is a separate facility of canteen and mess available in the hostels. Each room contains facilities like tables, chairs, beds, and cupboards. The hostel facility also offers a power supply and is close to the campus. 

GU Ahmedabad established separate hostel accommodations for girls in the year 1964. The girls' hostel offers spacious and comfortable rooms for students. The hostel also ensures that basic amenities are provided to students including a water cooler and water purifier. 

The university has a health centre that is well-equipped with facilities including an X-ray machine, an ECG machine, and physiotherapy equipment. The centre is looked after by trained staff.
