The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science Library has grown out of the research needs of the Association from its very beginning (1876). So it is the oldest library of its kind and occupies a unique position among the academia of Eastern India. The yearly budget for the Library is more than five Crore. An air-conditioned new building houses the library with all amenities for the users.
